Hello Everybody! My name is Jay and I'm happy to be a Zumbini instructor! My wife and I own and operate The Octave School of Music, which teaches kids and adults 4 and up all sorts of fun different instruments. Zumbini has given us the opportunity to give parents the class they've been begging for: a toddler class. It's going to be incredibly fun and I can't wait to work with all of the kids. I have four incredible kids, and they all love Zumbini. I am a degreed musician, and I love all styles of music. I do everything from country to rap with my cover band That 90s Show, and I have also done Musical Theatre and Opera throughout college. I love kids and I love music. Put them both together and you get Zumbini, and that makes it the perfect fit for me! I hope to see you at one of my classes soon!

Zumbini Time at The Octave with Mr. Jay! Kalino Finds the Music. Every student will get the Zumbini book and plushie with their class. Minimum of 5 families to run the class, so sign up today!
Located in the heart of Metairie, we've been a part of the Zumbini community for years now. The fun is restarting this July! The number to call is 504-218-4167.
There are a few parking spots in front on Athania Pkwy and more around the back of the building.
Street parking is always a good way to go here.
Cancelation Policy
There are no refunds once the class has begun. Since it's a group class we can't do individual make up sessions, so please try to make it every class you're signed up for. In the event of a weather emergency, you'll be notified via email.
