Zumbini
Zumbini for Schools
Hi! My name is Gabby, and I am so excited for you to join the Zumbini party!
I am an Augusta native and a mother of 3 - Lea Sofia, Jamie, and Luke. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Public Relations and a Minor in International Studies. My childhood dream was to be Princess Jasmine at DisneyWorld.
How I Came to Zumbini: As a first-time mom, I tried to find things to do with my daughter to get out of the house and to stimulate her, but I couldn't find any Mommy&Me classes in my area. The only things I could find were nearly an hour away, and as a new mom, taking my baby that far was too overwhelming for me. I had no mom friends, and I felt very isolated. It also took a while for me to bond with my daughter.
After having my last baby, I found that I still couldn't find any classes for younger children. It seemed like everything was geared towards older kids, and I really wanted to find something that I could do with my son while he was still an infant. That's when I decided that since I can't find a class, then I should just start one myself!
My goal is to be able to offer a fun and engaging class that fosters caregiver/child bonding, child development, self-expression, a love of music and dance, and a nurturing, supportive community. I want everyone to feel welcomed and to know that you are not alone.
I can't wait to sing and dance with you!
