ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Sigi and I am so excited to bring Zumbini to Memphis or online wherever you are! I am a pediatric occupational therapist specialized in sensory integration. With over a decade of experience working with early child development, I am now incorporating Zumbini as a part of the work I do. The Zumbini program is a sensory experience that allows for child directed play, exploration, socialization, motor planning and facilitates the development of cognitive, gross motor and fine motor skills. Zumbini's philosophy and evidenced based research blends well with the occupational therapy theory of using play to optimize development. Play is a child's "work", or daily occupation. Children learn through music and Zumbini offers an engaging sensory experience through music. I am excited to synchronize my occupational therapy background with Zumbini and offer this program to schools, daycare centers and families!
Zumbini is for children ages 0-5years old. Through the fun experience of music, dance and play, we will work on developmental skills as well as cognition, language, emotional and social skills all while having that special bonding time and fun with your little ones! My little one will also join some of our classes and we can't wait to get grooving with you!
